Home away helpers provide the neighborly help you need while you're out of town
We provide you with the peace of mind that your home is being looked after and maintained so that when you return and step through your front door it was like you never left. We provide a variety of services tailored to your needs. We collect and secure mail and deliveries, water your plants, take out/bring in the trash, feed your fish and much more.
Our family found we had a need for help at our homes when we travelled out of town. We live in places that are just a little too far and inconvenient for friends and family to pitch in and help. We searched for a professional vacation service on our schedule and for shorter “pop-in” visits rather than a full time house-sitter and had no luck.
We would like to offer our communities this service. We offer pop-in scheduled visits or on demand visits when unexpected needs arise. We are covered by public liability insurance.

Laura is located in San Carlos, California and services areas within a 20 mile radius.
Laura is the go to girl among her friends to water gardens, feed cats, hide packages and take out trash. She really cares for the safety and security of her friends' homes.
Laura is a biology graduate and part-time aquarist. She loves caring for aquariums for her clients and in her own home. She also enjoys training her 10 month old puppy and has experience as a dog walker and pet sitter.
